Have a specific requirement?Let’s build your configuration

Who this service suits

Choose dedicated servers around a measured workload and a clear operating model.

Database workloads

Applications that need a reviewed physical resource allocation, substantial memory or storage performance for a measured database workload.

Business platforms

ERP, reporting or consolidated applications where an organisation wants exclusive hardware and a documented operating model.

Technical operations

Teams prepared to plan OS administration, remote access, capacity changes and recovery for a physical server environment.

Configuration and technical scope

The quotation records the available options and the exact supplied configuration.

RequirementWhat to review
ProcessorExact CPU model, physical cores and thread configuration
MemoryInstalled RAM, upgrade options and application needs
StorageDrive type, count, usable capacity and I/O requirements
RAIDAvailable layout, usable capacity and failure handling
ConnectivityPort speed, transfer allowance and addresses
Access and lead timeRemote administration method and deployment schedule

Scope your service clearly

Separate the core service from work and software that need an additional agreement.

Core service

The server configuration or professional service described in the quotation. Confirm access, operating system and the agreed deliverables.

Optional services

Migration, backup administration, monitoring, management and additional software need a separately agreed scope and price.

Commercial details

Confirm taxes, setup charges, licensing, commitment, renewal and cancellation. Availability, workload location and support commitments belong in the quotation.

Compare the actual hardware model

A core count alone does not describe a dedicated server. Review processor generation, number of sockets, physical cores, memory and the application’s behaviour. Some workloads benefit from higher single-thread performance; others use more concurrent execution or a larger memory working set. Request the exact proposed hardware before approving a quotation. The starting price is a configuration discussion point and does not guarantee a particular processor, chassis or quantity of stock.

Treat storage layout as a design choice

Choose disks around usable capacity, performance and the expected failure and recovery process. Review whether the proposed RAID layout suits the application and how a failed drive would be handled. RAID can support storage resilience, but it does not protect against every deletion, application error or security incident. Keep a separate backup strategy and test application-consistent restores. Record the disk layout and recovery procedure in the server handover documentation.

Plan connectivity, access and physical changes

Network port speed, data transfer and address allocation are different quotation items. Confirm the available connectivity, remote administration method and any approved network restrictions. Hardware changes can require a maintenance window or migration, so leave room for growth and document application acceptance tests. Ask how infrastructure issues will be reported and handled under the proposed service. The website does not establish a deployment deadline or a hardware support SLA.

Management and customer responsibilities

A self-managed configuration gives your team responsibility for the operating system and application environment. Plan how you will patch software, manage access, monitor capacity and respond to incidents. CloudLelo management and backup administration can be requested as additional scoped services. Confirm the boundary between infrastructure support, operating-system administration and application support; none should be assumed from a resource specification alone.

Agree who handles each task

A task is assigned to CloudLelo only when it appears in the agreed management scope.

From requirements to a validated environment

Deployment dates, service commitments and acceptance criteria are agreed for your project.

01

Discover the workload

List applications, versions, dependencies, usage and authorised contacts. Identify protected data and the business owner who can validate deployment.

02

Confirm the quotation

Confirm resources, software, access, transfer, fees and the administration scope. Record commitments and exclusions before approving the quotation.

03

Prepare and validate

Agree migration or deployment, backup checks and acceptance tests. Define the rollback decision and retain source access until handover criteria are met.

04

Operate and review

Document credentials, ownership and escalation contacts. Review resource use, maintenance and recovery arrangements as the workload changes.

Dedicated Servers: practical questions

Understand the configuration and responsibilities before requesting an order.

Which CPU model is supplied at the starting price?

The exact entry configuration is confirmed in your quotation. Share performance requirements and request a complete processor, memory, disk and network specification before ordering.

Is RAID a substitute for backup?

No. RAID addresses particular storage-failure conditions. Backup and restore planning also covers deletion, corruption, access incidents and recovery of the application and its configuration.

Can dedicated servers run Windows?

Specify the Windows version, database and remote-access requirements. Hardware suitability and the necessary licences are reviewed separately before the Windows dedicated quotation is confirmed.

How is this service priced?

The quotation identifies resources or subscriptions, selected operating work, taxes, licences and commercial commitments. Consulting and provider consumption charges are reviewed separately.

What should I send with an enquiry?

Describe the application or provider, current setup, users, data size and intended change. Avoid passwords, private keys and confidential business records.

Are backups or recovery included?

Confirm protected data, frequency, retention, storage location and restore responsibilities separately. Provider retention features do not automatically establish an independent backup arrangement.

How are support and management defined?

The approved scope lists tasks, channels, escalation and maintenance responsibilities. Any support hours or response commitments must be agreed for the service.

Can the configuration or subscription change later?

Changes depend on availability, software and commercial commitments. Review potential interruption, data, licences and costs before approving a resource or subscription change.
