Have a specific requirement?Let’s build your configuration

Who this service suits

Choose windows vps around a measured workload and a clear operating model.

Windows applications

Teams running software that specifically requires a supported Windows Server environment rather than a Linux runtime.

Business tools

Organisations assessing ERP, accounting or internal software with documented Windows and database compatibility.

Remote administration

IT teams needing controlled RDP administration, named accounts and a reviewed network-access method.

Configuration and technical scope

The quotation records the available options and the exact supplied configuration.

RequirementWhat to review
Operating systemRequired Windows Server version and licence model
Compute and memoryApplication and concurrent-user requirements
DatabaseSQL Server version, edition and licence responsibility
Remote accessAdministrative access versus multi-user RDS use
Network controlsVPN, gateway, firewall and approved source access

Scope your service clearly

Separate the core service from work and software that need an additional agreement.

Core service

The server configuration or professional service described in the quotation. Confirm access, operating system and the agreed deliverables.

Optional services

Migration, backup administration, monitoring, management and additional software need a separately agreed scope and price.

Commercial details

Confirm taxes, setup charges, licensing, commitment, renewal and cancellation. Availability, workload location and support commitments belong in the quotation.

Separate Windows, SQL and application licences

Windows Server, SQL Server, remote desktop services and your business application may each have separate licence conditions. Describe the editions, user counts and access pattern before requesting a quote. Do not assume that a Windows environment includes SQL Server or multi-user desktop rights. CloudLelo can review the required configuration and service scope; licence entitlement and costs must be confirmed for the actual proposed arrangement before deployment.

Use RDP through a considered access path

Remote desktop access is useful for administration, but exposing it broadly increases operational risk. Discuss approved source access, a VPN or a suitable gateway, account permissions and authentication. Keep administrator access separate from everyday application users. Existing firewall rules and endpoint requirements affect the connection method. Plan an emergency access process and document who can approve new accounts, credential changes or a change to the remote-access configuration.

Test ASP.NET and database dependencies

Record .NET requirements, IIS configuration, database compatibility and external connections. A legacy application may depend on a particular runtime, scheduled task or installed component. Test these dependencies in a prepared environment before production cutover. Size memory and storage around the actual application and database, then measure concurrent use. A sample resource allocation or RDP connection does not establish a guaranteed number of users or application performance.

Management and customer responsibilities

A self-managed configuration gives your team responsibility for the operating system and application environment. Plan how you will patch software, manage access, monitor capacity and respond to incidents. CloudLelo management and backup administration can be requested as additional scoped services. Confirm the boundary between infrastructure support, operating-system administration and application support; none should be assumed from a resource specification alone.

Agree who handles each task

A task is assigned to CloudLelo only when it appears in the agreed management scope.

From requirements to a validated environment

Deployment dates, service commitments and acceptance criteria are agreed for your project.

01

Discover the workload

List applications, versions, dependencies, usage and authorised contacts. Identify protected data and the business owner who can validate deployment.

02

Confirm the quotation

Confirm resources, software, access, transfer, fees and the administration scope. Record commitments and exclusions before approving the quotation.

03

Prepare and validate

Agree migration or deployment, backup checks and acceptance tests. Define the rollback decision and retain source access until handover criteria are met.

04

Operate and review

Document credentials, ownership and escalation contacts. Review resource use, maintenance and recovery arrangements as the workload changes.

Windows VPS: practical questions

Understand the configuration and responsibilities before requesting an order.

Does Windows VPS include multi-user RDS licensing?

Multi-user remote desktop use is reviewed separately from administrative access. Share the application and user pattern so the required Windows and RDS licensing can be included in the quotation.

Is SQL Server included?

Database edition and licensing are specified in the quote. Tell us whether the application uses SQL Server and which edition or compatibility level it requires.

Why is pricing by quotation?

The equivalent configuration, Windows licensing, access rights and management scope must be matched before a numerical price can be proposed. We avoid comparing a Linux resource price with a different Windows service.

How is this service priced?

The quotation identifies resources or subscriptions, selected operating work, taxes, licences and commercial commitments. Consulting and provider consumption charges are reviewed separately.

What should I send with an enquiry?

Describe the application or provider, current setup, users, data size and intended change. Avoid passwords, private keys and confidential business records.

Are backups or recovery included?

Confirm protected data, frequency, retention, storage location and restore responsibilities separately. Provider retention features do not automatically establish an independent backup arrangement.

How are support and management defined?

The approved scope lists tasks, channels, escalation and maintenance responsibilities. Any support hours or response commitments must be agreed for the service.

Can the configuration or subscription change later?

Changes depend on availability, software and commercial commitments. Review potential interruption, data, licences and costs before approving a resource or subscription change.
