Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about resources, quotes, migration, licensing and management.
A few things you might be wondering.
Resources, responsibilities and commercial terms deserve the same attention.
How do I choose a server?
Measure the application’s CPU, memory and storage use, then review compatibility, access and recovery needs. CloudLelo can discuss a configuration against that inventory.
Can an existing application move?
Migration requires dependency mapping, a transfer method, business acceptance tests and a rollback decision. Scope and interruption are reviewed before the move.
What does managed hosting include?
The quotation lists the tasks CloudLelo will administer. Operating-system work does not automatically include application development, vendor support or unlimited incident work.
Are software licences included?
Windows, RDS, Tally, database and control-panel rights are reviewed separately. The quotation identifies customer-supplied or additional licences.
How does billing work?
Displayed server rates are monthly and exclude applicable taxes. Setup fees, commitments, renewal and cancellation terms are confirmed before an order. No annual discount is assumed.
Are backups included?
Confirm backup jobs, retention, storage location and restoration responsibilities separately. Test the application recovery rather than relying on a copy alone.
Can resources be upgraded?
Changes depend on the platform, capacity and software. Some require downtime or migration. Review data, licences and costs before approval.
Service quotations and responsibilities
Understand the configuration and responsibilities before requesting an order.
Is a cloud server automatically highly available?
No high-availability architecture is implied by a single server configuration. Discuss application replication, load balancing, recovery requirements and the available platform design before treating a workload as redundant.
Can I choose the server location?
Tell us where your users and business systems are located. Available deployment locations and the treatment of stored data are confirmed in the quotation; office addresses are not server-location promises.
Is management included in the starting price?
Starting resource prices are for configuration planning. Operating-system administration, monitoring and backup work need a defined scope. Compare the managed cloud option if you want us to review those tasks.
How is this service priced?
The quotation identifies resources or subscriptions, selected operating work, taxes, licences and commercial commitments. Consulting and provider consumption charges are reviewed separately.
What should I send with an enquiry?
Describe the application or provider, current setup, users, data size and intended change. Avoid passwords, private keys and confidential business records.
Are backups or recovery included?
Confirm protected data, frequency, retention, storage location and restore responsibilities separately. Provider retention features do not automatically establish an independent backup arrangement.
How are support and management defined?
The approved scope lists tasks, channels, escalation and maintenance responsibilities. Any support hours or response commitments must be agreed for the service.
Can the configuration or subscription change later?
Changes depend on availability, software and commercial commitments. Review potential interruption, data, licences and costs before approving a resource or subscription change.
